Sedimentary rocks are formed by fluvial deposits and subsequently subject to pressure. Igneous rocks are formed by cooling of original magma. Metamorphic rocks are formed from the two previous types subject to conditions in the depths of the earth's crust. You can figure out the answer by considering what conditions you expect to find deep down in the earth's crust.
