A blueprint for a house has a scale of 1:35 (in:in). A wall in the blueprint is 3 inches. what is the length (in feet) of actual wall A-105 Feet B-8.75 ft C-8.75 in D-1,260 ft

OpenStudy (avengedslipknot):

@candy13106

OpenStudy (candy13106):

The ratio is 1:35. Therefore if the blueprint shows 3 inches, we need to multiply it by 35 to get the actual wall. Thus 35 * 3 inches = 105 inches. Now divide 105 inches by 12 inches per foot. It is now 105 ÷ 12 = 8.75 feet. got it

OpenStudy (avengedslipknot):

Yes i understand better now :D thanks
