A triangle is rotated 30 degrees about the origin. What is true about the relationship between the image and the pre-image? 1- The length of the sides and the measures of the angles are preserved, so the triangles are congruent. 2- The lengths of the sides are enlarged and measures of the angled are preserved, so the triangles are similar. 3- The lengths of the sides change and the measures of the angles change as well, so the triangles look nothing alike. 4- The lengths of the sides are reduced and measures of the angles are preserved, so one triangle is a reduction of the other.

I think it is 2 but I am not sure?!?!?

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

the rotation is the rigid motion. the lengths of sides, the angles, everything is remaining the same, thus the triangles are congruent

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

2nd is incorrect

Thank you, so much.
