A company was looking for a vice president of marketing. Advertising expenses totaled $1,008 and interviewing expenses, including travel for the finalist were $1,547. They hired Stephan Peitrovsky. Hiring expenses included $2,897 in moving costs and a 7% realtor’s fee on the selling price of Stephan’s home. The home sold for $265,489. What is the total recruiting cost to the nearest cent? Can someone at least tell me how to set this up?

It looks like you're just going to add everything up right? 1,008 +1,547+ 2897 + 265,489 + .07(265,489)

No :( I keep getting the wrong answer when I do that. Even just adding the expenses it still isn't right

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

Did you get this $289,525.20
