Medal and fan, help please What did Thomas Jefferson and James Madison mean when they said states could nullify laws? A. They meant President Adams could not ever control the states. B.They meant all laws created by Federalists were invalid. C. They meant if a state did not like a law, that state could ignore it. D. They meant if a state believed a law was unconstitutional, it did not have to follow that law.
