Hint: the question said "as a function of the number of years since 1990" What do u think is the range for x?
OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):
is it A?
OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
hahahaaa u ARE smart, sammie :)
Right on! Good job!!
OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
oh this is hard - u actually have to DO some calculations lol
OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):
I know! Where do I start?
OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
first - note that question is set up the same as last: function of the number of years since 1990. So u should set up a table with the proper x values first.
OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):
Okay, is it possible to use my graphing calc since my teacher said to do so?
OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
yes, u will need a calc or excel or go online to DO the regression but u still need to set up the table correctly first.

give me one sec
OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):
ugh I can't get it
OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
What happened?
OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):
Like I don't understand it enough to completely plot it out.
OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
What exactly do u not understand? No need to plot it out for now; just set up the table first ok?

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
yup yup
OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
then i will show u a really cool thing...actually 2 things :)
OpenStudy (sammietaygreen):
would the year be x, and population be y?
OpenStudy (superdavesuper):
