How do I put in the vertex form this equation? Y=x^2 -6X+8
Vertex form is y = a(x + h)^2 + k

Okay, to complete the square, first find the values of (b/2)^2, where y = ax^2 + bx + c. So in this case, b = -6
so like this? −b/2a=−6/ 2×1=3
No, not quite. Do this: \(\large (\frac{-6}{2})^2\)
