What do you think was the most important accomplishment of the Progressive Era? Think especially about how the accomplishment affects our lives today.

I would say that it is an opinion. One I believe to be very important is the work of muckrakers. For instance in Upton Sinclair never wrote The Jungle the meat business might still be like that today (and if you ever read it you can see how that would be a major problem). But also the work of the National Women's Suffrage Association got the nineteenth amendment ratified. And instead of using the spoil system we got the Civil Service Exams. All which are very important. So really I don't think there is the most important. It really depends on the person and how each accomplishment effects them personally.
