OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

MISTY :D

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

ok so to find the amout she paid for 8 dishes you need to multiply p (money for 1 dish) by 8 (number of dishes)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

you will get 8p=48.80

OpenStudy (misty1212):

none those is the unit price the unit price is \(48.80\div8=6.1\)

OpenStudy (misty1212):

math teacher who wrote this question was not paying attention, expected you to read his or her mind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alex is correct, we get the formula then you are able to solve for p

OpenStudy (misty1212):

they want you to say \[8P=48.80\] but that is not the unit price

OpenStudy (misty1212):

FLVS strikes again i bet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it isent?

OpenStudy (annonomys):

-_-

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the unit price is not an equation, it is a number

OpenStudy (misty1212):
