yeah they are look at the lines and were they line up the edges have the same amount of tallys showing that the edges are the same

The triangle in the center is an equilateral triangle, so all three of its sides are equal in length. So you know side AC and AD are congruent. The outer sides of the two triangles, lines AB and AE, are both 7, so they are both congruent as well.

measure of AB =7 and measure of AE = 7 so AB and AE are congruent since, furthermore: <BAC is congruent to <EAD Now, since also AC is congruent to AD, then triangles ABC and AED are congruent by the SAS criterion
