What is the easiest way to simplify (X+2)^50 without the pascal's triangle.
wolfram alpha
i don't think there is another way ._.
lol true
Or maybe to just not do it?
i would go with "not do it"
btw there is no such mathematical operation as "simplify" \((x+2)^{50}\) is to my mind way way simpler than whatever you get when you "expand" which is probably what you meant
So if I were asked in a test, I would have a make an extremely big pascal's triangle in order to solve it?
You would not be asked that in a NORMAL school
no you would say "i do not have room on this paper, nor time in this day, to expand this"
you will not see that on test 100% sure
a*
you will see 50, but without a zero.
is there no formula for this?
sure there is
there wouldn't be any question abt pascal's triangle on a FINAL EXAM
Im just asking if there's like a question like ( X + Y ) ^1000 how would I be able to solve it if i was told me do it.
\[(a+b)^n=\sum_{k=0}^n \binom{n}{k}a^{n-k}b^k\]
oh.. LOL
I guess that is probably not going to appear in any of my test.
if it's pre-calc then don't worry. the possible highest degree would be n <10
satelite can you help please?
