What are two outcomes of the American Revolution??

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Is this MC or do you write in an answer for this? There are several answers to this.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

@aNerdHopefully2002

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I need two of the most important outcomes of the American Revolution. And u have to write in a complete sentence as every single teacher I have says.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I*

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Okay. No problem, I will help you. First off, do you know what the American Revolution is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I know what the American Revolution is

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Tell me what it is. Give me your input on what it is

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Only reason I ask is just to make sure you know what it is, then we will discuss important outcomes. :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To me the American Revolution is the war eternal Britian and the 13 colonies for freedom. This only happened because King George the III wouldn't do "taxation without representation" so the colonist got all mad and declared war after the Boston Masscre. Also King George wa having a bad day so he didn't accept the Declaration of Independence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Between*

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Lol, that is wonderful. I love your interpretation. Now, what was the outcome of the American Revolution - in other words, who won

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We won after the British surrendered at a battle somewhere I forgot

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Perfect. The Treaty of Paris was signed in Paris, France on September 3, 1783. This ended the American Revolutionary War, and gave the colonies their independence from Great Britain. The 13 states were now free to join together and become the United States of America. (studyzone.com 10/29/15)

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

So what do you find to be the most important factor, outcome, from this Revolution

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Hint: Its what we fought for.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

I see you went offline. I'll give my points, and you can construct your sentences based off of the points

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

1) I would say one outcome of the American Revolution would be that America gained its independence from Great Britain; this lead America to become its own Nation, in which we would build and develop on, forming what is known as The United States. (You can improvise this, this is just a rough draft)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry my phone turned off on me

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

2) The American people grouped together and formed a new government. We started our own government, weaning ourselves off of British Rule. (Not sure how far into schooling you are, but have you read Common Sense? This refers to the American Revolution in points, especially us coming off their rule. Good read.) Anyways, we learned to become more indepedent because we were not under any rule. We had to conform to a new life, no more monarchy, at least under the GB rule.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

You're fine, it happens :-)

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Heres a list of outcomes from the American Revolution, too, to incorporate if you don't like my points: Ending the rule of the British over the Americans. Claiming ownership of American from the British. Dropping British ties and mannarisms (such as titles).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now im using a more reliable technology a laptop

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Me too - my phone can be troublesome.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Do you need help constructing sentences?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And no I have not read common sense yet. Been wanting to but to lazy

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

It's usually hard to understand for some first time readers, but you seem very smart and intellect, I think you will enjoy it and understand it just fine :-) I've done many essays on it

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

I will medal you because you seem to have a good understanding of this topic. History can be difficult sometimes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Woah someone thinks im smart.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Do not doubt yourself! Tip 1 for success

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Got that. Think your smart for success and to be even smarter

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Exactly. My psychology teacher stresses believing in ourselves gives us better chances at success

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now I have much more self confidence and will be able to finish my mile run tomorrow with hopefully a good time and pass my math test

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (maddy1251):
