Some Austin Community College teachers have volunteered to teach for free this summer. They are doing this so that school officials will not cancel 231 summer classes as they are planning to do. The teachers said that students shouldn't be punished for the college's money problems. They will work for free to help out. School officials said they didn't know how many faculty members it would take to cover all the courses. They appreciate the teachers' offer.
