n= number of the term we have to find so to find 9th term substitute n for 9 then solve
let n = 9 I got 2
anywys :/\[a_9=-14+(\color{ReD}{9}-1)(2)\] remember PEMDAS rule parentheses first so first subtract (9-1) and then multiply by 2
