Is the underlined participial phrase correctly placed or misplaced? Luis noticed many fallen branches strolling through the park. A. correctly placed participial phrase B. misplaced participial phrase meadls will be givin and fann

OpenStudy (rowbe98):

I am assuming "strolling through the park" is underlined. This would be incorrectly placed since it makes it seem as if the branches are strolling. This would make sense if a "while" was inserted before the participial phrase. A better placement would be, "Strolling through the park, Luis noticed many fallen branches."
