sin = opp/hyp cos = adj/hyp tan = opp/adj

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I will help you with Sin A = opp/hyp first use the pyth theorem to determine the hyp 7^2 + 4^2 = 49 + 16 = 65 hyp is sqrt(65 )

OpenStudy (mrnood):

first of all - you need to calculate the length of the hypotenuse you can leave it as a 'sqrt' because the answers have it in that form so usung Pythagoras - what is the length of the third side of the triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so sin A = 4/sqrt(65) - you can't leave it like that so rewrite properly now you should be able to do cos and tan

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@-EtherealEbullience so YOU need to use the same method to find the others

Okay, thanks guys! I wish I could give you both medals for helping! But I am more of a visual learner so Juanita explanation while including numbers helped more. ^^
