Anyone good at this? Describe how the graphs of f(x) and g(x) are related. f(x)=x^2 and g(x)=3/4x^2

OpenStudy (foreverandalways13):

PLZ HELP!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since they both are x^2 they are both parabolas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since fraction in front of g - that means that it is transformation of f by compression(shrinking) by 3/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is transformation problems. where F(x) is parent function and g(x) is transformed by something...

OpenStudy (foreverandalways13):

THANK YOU!!!! that makes soo much more sense now!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good luck!

OpenStudy (foreverandalways13):

thanks!!
