I'm not sure what's coming out of the man's dead body, but I'm sure that's very relevant to the meaning of the photo.

It symbolizes depression. The idea is that you are no longer who you appear to be and who you thought you were. The man at the door represents a former self, the one bending over the corpse is recognition, and the corpse itself is, well, the end result. A crushed life.
