Hmm...well the themes in The Necklace are ones like "Be happy with who you are", "Reality vs Appearance" in relation to the necklace, "Pride" is a major theme as well, along with "Wealth". I'll see if I can find any short stories with similar themes for you :)

"A Respectable Woman" by Kate Chopin has some similar themes like pride. She has another story, "The Story of an Hour", that relates to reality vs appearance with how she perceived her marriage and how she realized she really felt about it.
