Analogy of Newton's laws of motion? Alright Newton formulated three laws of motion concerning the physics free, rigid bodies, moving in space. (I know you know, but you know, some people might not know) 1. - Inertia - Objects in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced external force. 2. - [math]F = ma[/math] - The force (F) required to accelerate an object by an amount (a) is equal to its mass (m) multiplied by the acceleration (a) 3. - For every action there is an equal (in magnitude) and opposite (in direction) reaction - this implies the conservation of momentum in a closed system
