Can someone please help me?
@TheSmartOne
lets try elimination method. Multiply the 1st equation by 3 Add the result with 2nd equation. can you try that?
So, -3*3 and 2*3?
I got (0,12), but I think that's wrong.
What did you get when you multiply the entire equation -3x -2y = -12 by 3 ?
-9x and 6y
Oh and -36
-9x -6y = -36 right? now add that with 2nd equation!
So, -9+9 and 6+6 and then -36+-9?
its -6y , right?? so -6+6
0 and -9+9 is 0, so that means there would be no solutions right?
0 + 0 = -36 - 9 0 = -45 that is NOT true. so that system does not have any solution! yes.
Thank you! And I learned these systems in 9th grade, but forgot how to do them, so also thank you for showing me how to solve them again.(:
