Does anyone know the feminine plurals for the following sentances? 1. Ils sont sérieux. 2. Il est stressé et impoli. 3. Il est méchant et laid.
Hint: This link gives most of the general rules and examples: http://www.french-linguistics.co.uk/grammar/plural.shtml
looked around for a site like this but all I found was translators, thank you so much.
Actually, this one is better, because it takes care of the gender as well, and that's what you also need: http://french.about.com/od/grammar/a/adjectives_2.htm
For your information, most of the adjectives that end with -eux has the feminie form as -euse Example: anxieux, anxieuse avantageux, avantageuse etc.
thats what was confusing me, I didnt know whether to drop the eux and add the se or add it to the end of the word. thanks again.
You're welcome! :)
