I am on Unit 4 Lesson 1 in Honors English 10 A. Could you perhaps help me with number 3. Which of the following does NOT have a negative connotation in the excerpt from "The Divine Comedy"? a. leopard b. lion c. greyhound d. she-wolf

OpenStudy (jadedry):

The greyhound. At the beginning of the Divine Comedy, Dante finds himself in dark woods. It is in these woods he comes across a leopard, lion and a she-wolf. All are metaphors for some sin or other. Therefore, this leaves "greyhound" as the answer. Look here for more details. c: http://danteworlds.laits.utexas.edu/prologue.html
