Does anyone know this? In a short response of at least three complete sentences, define flash-forward and explain its effect on a traditional plot structure.

OpenStudy (rowbe98):

Flash-forward is essentially the opposite of flashback. It's giving you something that will or might happen in the future, and typically interrupts the proper chronologic order of a story. They are useful for fantasy, if your character is getting a glimpse of the future or a prophecy :)
