What is the measure of DE?

I would assume you mean arc DE correct? But anyways, do you see the segment EC, the diameter of the circle... this cuts the circle in half right? So that means 180 degrees on each have of the circle... Well the diagram already tells you the measurement of arc DC which is 112... so if you have 180 for the entire half, and arc DC is 112, then arc DE is going to be 180 - 112 = 68.

68 isnt an answer the only answers are 76, 58, 96, 40

And for this question they are asking for arc DE?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah

I would say then the answer choices are wrong... but i guess you could ask another person and see what they say.
