Plz Help !! ( free medal ) i need to know what is the immediate risk and the first step to take on these situation ( btw in the question, i am a counselor in the youth summer camp and the nurse are not present) : 1.A student fell down while running on the trail. The bone is protruding. The swollen and painful leg is severely bruised. 2.A boy fell into the campfire. He has a deep burn, and the skin is charred.
Stabilize the leg and create a brace, preferably two sticks on either side of the leg wrapped tightly around the break. Call for assistance. Make sure there is no jewelry around the burn, and if there is remove it. Check for circulation, and elevate the burned area if possible. Call for immediate assistance, and maybe put a cool cloth over the wound.
Immediate risks includes blood loss and nerve damage, along with muscle damage and infection.
thank you very much
