What do you think about Abortion????? Please help me fight against abortion !!! I am writing a essay about fighting about abortion. And I need some opinions. What does abortion mean to you personally???
i believe that abortion is wrong on many levels personally i think of it as ending someones life before it has even started
Can I get some more responses???
this is a place where people can go to learn.. not be judged by their personal situations. if you don't believe in abortion then don't do it! but its not your right to fight agains a persons free will! if you don't like abortion then who cares? its not your life.. so lets get back to using this site for education.. shall we?
That was really rude!!! This is for my report for school!! And a life matters!!
I can't believe a person would say a life does not matter!! Do you even know the sick things that doctors do to have Abortions????????????
if a woman wants to go through with abortion than it should be between her and her doctor.. not fought against by people who don't know the reasons for why these woman are doing it. remember.. the idealization of abortion is both negative and positive.. but that doesn't meant a person should be ignorant when it comes to their opinion.. write an essay about how people should stop judging and maybe..just maybe.. our world wouldnt be so close minded.. (not saying you are.. i don't care what who believes in) just don't be ignorant. keeping an open mind will be the smartest thing you do in your life.
I am in 8th grade. I am 13. And some day my dream is to save hundreds maybe even thousand!! My dream is to STOP ABORTIONS NOW!!! And now can I hear a AMEN!!
your 13.. i get it.. but if you want to save lives.. writing hatful essays over something your too young to even understand its doing anything for anyone
Killing a Innocent baby is NOT OK!!!
isn't doing anything for anyone*
AMEN!!
ok.. killing animals for food isnt right either but you probably eat meat like its nothing.. why? because you dont see it as killing but it is.. how are you going to fight for something you dont understand? yeah killing babys is wrong OBVIOUSLY but judging and hating people for something you cant control is pointless and it can hurt more people than your trying to save.
I understand enough about abortions to know that this is EVIL!!!
listen.. i see where your coming from and its pointless for me to educate a wall so just remember.. when your older.. you'll understand but for now.. open up your mind kid.. its the best thing you can ever do for yourself.
I am not hurting people.. And I am not hating. I showing Women that there is another way than death. There is life!!!
Out of every mistake there is beauty!
I believe all life is precious too.. but think of it like this.. a friend of mine was raped while walking home one night after work.. she was 14.. she went to the dr.. not only was she pregnant but she had 1 choice.. HER CHOICE not yours.. not mine.. HERS she was 14.. so she chose to abort it.. that was of her own free will.. thats just one reason a woman did what she did.. but it shouldn't matter either way.. we all have a right to chose what we do with our bodies..
Psalm 139:13-16 ESV / 114 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
instead of going against abortion.. how about you go to some support groups for single mothers who kept their children and need help living.. help those people survive.. instead of fighting for something thats out of your control
I ma not making anybody do anything. I am showing them there is a light in the darkness.
I am keeping my topic about fighting against abortions. And God be with all the women through hard times.
I will not be saying anymore.
Now may I use what you said about your opinions for my paper. My paper is suppose to be about a argument.
And this would be perfect.
ok kid.. have fun! just remember.. never care if a person is black, white, gay, straight or prey to a bush.. if they respect you, respect them..
Ok.. I don't agree but ok.
And just remember I am a teenager. And a women of God I Shaw fallow the path he gave for me.
you don't agree with what.. that you should respect everyone, no matter who or what they believe?
i respect you.. and i'm Agnostic and your obviously Christian.. but i respect you.. why? because your a human being.. you deserve just as much respect as anyone.. people are people.. all the same on the inside..
I will respect everyone. But don't believe that man can be with man. And women can be with women. I believe male with female.
we finally made love legal! now its time to make peace legal!
There not all the same in side. And as person is a person no matter how small. I believe in the only Messiah. Yeshua hamashiach. (Jesus)
Wow I am done talking now thank for all the info.
yeah we are... how ignorant are you kid? you think people are lesser or more value because of what.. their heart? their feelings? their soul? thats sad..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVg2EJvvlF8 listen to this.. its john lennon.. youll like it
Little bit of a problem, here. If you are collecting opinion, then DO NOT argue with submissions you receive. If you are posting just to argue, you are not abiding by the rules of OpenStudy. It is simple.
Personally I believe 1st trimester abortions are only fair. After that it's murder. If anyone wants to argue that its still murder in the 1st trimester, I counter that that means male masturbation and female menstruation are both also murder. Just to be clear, they are not. Further, if you want to argue against abortion, you have to create a logical argument justifying yourself as knowing whats good for other people better than what they know as good for themselves. Once you realize that you cannot do that, you might arrive at the conclusion that in some circumstances it is better to abort the possibility of an orphan, or a child who would be raised in a sub-ideal environment. Just to clarify, when I say sub-ideal, I certainly don't mean to bring into mind anything about some standard that might be socially engrained. What I mean, in the most basic sense, is what can be simplified as Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The basic living environment that a human needs to undergo healthy psychophysiological development. If a person believes that they cannot provide that for their potential child, than it is arguable that, the more responsible decision is to abort the growth. I'm sure the fire burning in your heart is in regards to all the potential "Einsteins" and whoever else of, I would like to point out that it statistically more likely for that aborted growth to have, if it had been allowed to become a human, become a criminal deviant of no benefit to society. Of course, both of those points are mere speculation and of no value in a discussion of logic and reason. If in the end, the point is to reach a logical and ethically sound basis from which to make our decision on whether or not we should have an abortion. The most important factor to take into account is whether or not we, being ourselves, indeed have a growing human tumor inside of our uteri at this very moment. Good luck.
Without expressing my personal opinion, I offer the following logical contrary arguments. I won't mention all that I could. I'm just contributing some thought points for the OPs biased research. I have edited severely for space, but I believe nothing is addressed out of original context. "Personally I believe 1st trimester abortions are only fair. After that it's murder." Trimester identification is not an exact science. You'll have to be more specific. Are you saying there is a day, maybe a minute, where abortion is okay, but if you wait one moment longer, it's murder? This is a bit short on sensibility. "If anyone wants to argue that its still murder in the 1st trimester, I counter that that means male masturbation and female menstruation are both also murder." Life has nothing to do with fertilization? That's a very odd definition. "Further, if you want to argue against abortion, you have to create a logical argument justifying yourself as knowing whats [sic] good for other people better than what they know as good for themselves." Well, except for the fact that nearly every law ever written can be described as just that. "...some circumstances it is better to abort the possibility of an orphan, or a child who would be raised in a sub-ideal environment." You did attempt to clarify this, but your efforts are insufficient to withstand the argument that ALL children are born into sub-ideal circumstances. Frankly, our society doesn't even know what ideal circumstances are! Research comes and goes. "The most important factor to take into account is whether or not we, being ourselves, indeed have a growing human tumor inside of our uteri at this very moment." No stage of pregnancy qualifies under the definition of "tumor". The growth must be abnormal. Pregnancy is a normal process. And thus we see that there remain varying opinions and our society has yet to observe one version or another as particularly compelling. Of course, the SCOTUS made their own compelling arguments back in 1974 or so. Society in the USofA just hasn't gotten on board with that. There remain warring factions.
Ok I hear what you guys are saying.....But just hear me out. If you kill some one it is murder. And if you kill a baby inside of it is mother it is still murder. I don't see a difference between the two. I don't find it ok that doctors would be able to give Abortion pills to the mothers. Or remove . Also I am just sickened that the doctors would do that. Why??? Because that would haunt me for years!! Back to the topic. There are two kinds of abortion in the U.S. — in-clinic abortion and the abortion pill. What is even more jacked up is it does not even kill the baby. It herts the mother. READ THIS!! http://www.jesus-is- savior.com/Evils%20in%20America/Abortion%20is%20Murder/untold_truth.htm Go to the website just to see what abortions do.

And just so you guys know this for my ARGUMENTATIVE essay at school. So I suppose to make a arguement about what ever topic I want.
The website might be a little scary so don't go to it if you don't want to be scared. Lets just say pg13.
This is some of what the website says.
What They Won't Tell You At The... ABORTION CLINIC! This tract was written by a PEACE of Minnesota member who experienced abortion personally... This is a tough decision you have to make, but please be mature. Only an immature person thinks of herself alone. This article was written by neither a militant, pro-life male, nor a 50-year-old grandmother who has never been faced with a problem pregnancy. It was written by a woman who was eighteen and pregnant once. A woman who was scared, like you are, and chose abortion. After nine years I know what the right choice was, and is, and I just want you to know . . What They Didn't Tell Me . . . They Won't Tell You . . . 1. Abortion is not safe. Contrary to the belief that abortion is as simple as removing a wart, it is actually a very serious procedure that can have very serious results. The clinic personnel will lead you to believe that complications rarely arise, but that is not the case. Many women have been damaged for life as a result of their legal abortion. Your cervical muscle may be damaged in an abortion because the cervix is forcefully dilated. This means that your future pregnancies have a greater chance of resulting in miscarriage or premature delivery. Damage to the uterine wall is another concern. Perforation (puncturing) of the uterus, infection, hemorrhage, and blood clots are only a few of the complications that you could end up with. I you do have a :successful" abortion, scar tissue may still form which can cause sterilization, miscarriages and tubal pregnancies.¹ approximately two out of 10 women who abort their first pregnancy will never be able to have children again. Do you want to take that kind of risk? They Won't Tell You . . . 2. Abortion leaves emotional scars. Most often a woman will feel the consequences of her decision within days of her abortion. If they don't appear immediately, they will appear as she gets older. Emotional scars include unexplained depression, a loss of the ability to get close to others, repressed emotions, a hardening of the spirit, thwarted maternal instincts (which may lead to child abuse or neglect later in life), intense feelings of guilt and thoughts of suicide.² Don't be fooled —every abortion leaves emotional scars. They Won't Tell You . . . 3. Abortion kills a baby. Before you even know you're pregnant, your baby's heart begins to beat. At six weeks brain waves are measurable and your baby moves and responds to touch. At eight weeks she is perfectly developed, with fingers and toes, even her own set of fingerprints. By ten weeks she can squint, swallow and suck her thumb. If you tickled her nose she would move her head away. By eleven to 12 weeks all body systems are present and working.³ All she needs to become a healthy newborn is time and nourishment. Nothing new develops after 12 weeks! What would you name her? Rebecca? Stephanie? They Won't Tell You . . . 4. Abortion is violent. The most common method of abortion used in early pregnancy is suction aspiration. The cervix is forced open. A vacuum device 29 times more powerful than a home vacuum cleaner is used to suction out the "contents of the uterus."4 A D and E is performed after 16 weeks. As in the suction method, your baby is torn to pieces, but this time the abortionist uses a special instrument to tear the arms and legs from the body. He punctures her soft spot, suctions out the brain and crushed the skull, then removes the remaining body parts. Another method done after 16 weeks is the saline abortion. A salt solution is injected into the baby's bag of waters. It poisons the baby and burns off her outer layer of skin. She actually convulses in pain for the hour or so that it takes for the solution to do its deadly job. The mother then goes into labor and gives birth to a dead baby.5 A hysterotomy (last trimester) is done by making an incision in the mother's abdomen. The unwanted child is lifted out and left to die. They Won't Tell You . . . 5. Abortion exploits women. The counselors at an abortion clinic will use obscure terms such as "product of conception," "contents of the uterus," and "fetal tissue" to refer to your baby. They will rarely advise you to carry your baby to term because they are operating for profit and they don't want to lose your business. Essentially, they are making money off of your problem! The abortionist can make more money by doing abortions than a regular physician can through caring for a woman through a 9-month pregnancy. Are you going to be the poor girl who finances his next trip to Europe? They Won't Tell You . . . 6. There are alternatives to abortion. There are many organizations that can offer you practical support such as maternity and baby clothes, a place to live, pre-natal care, and financial aid. Counseling is also available to help you through this traumatic time. Please think carefully about your future. The decision you make in the next few weeks will affect you for the rest of your life. If you're unsure about having an abortion, take just one more day to think about it — don't let anyone pressure you into a decision you're not ready to make yet. Please call us — we want to help... And we'll give you the truth. This tract was written by a PEACE of Minnesota member who experienced abortion personally. 1. Questions & Answers on Abortion, Minnesota Citizens Concerned For Life. 2. END The Voice Of Their Blood Crieth Unto God From The Ground “And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.” —Genesis 4:10 By David J. Stewart | January 2010 | Updated June 2015 The American people have blood on our hands. It is called corporate responsibility. We are GUILTY as a nation for the sins of our people. In World War II, hundreds-of-thousands of innocent Japanese people were burned alive with napalm by American incendiary bombs. This is before we ever nuked them! You see, the Japanese people paid for the sins of their nation as a whole. America's day of reckoning is coming! We are a sinful nation of adulterous, idolatrous, selfish, calculated, cold-blooded, murderers. Over 55,000,000 babies have been slaughtered in American abortuaries since 1973. A startling 1.7 billion children have been aborted worldwide. More black babies were aborted in New York City in 2012 than were born. Where is justice? Just as Abel's blood cried out from the ground after Cain murdered him, so does the blood of every aborted baby in the world cry out to God from the ground for justice. Is This Of Thy Whoredoms A Small Matter, That Thou Hast Slain 'MY CHILDREN'! (abortion is murder!) Americans aren't just sinful, they are in denial about their sins. We have become sinfully proud and arrogant as a people, dismissing God's commands, removing prayer and Bible teaching from our public schools, and redefining God. But God hasn't changed, and the truths of God's Word hasn't changed, and sin is still sin. Here is a powerful quote from the mighty man of God, and Bible teacher, M.R. DeHaan, M.D. ... "Has it ever struck you, as it has me, that the world has tried desperately hard to rid itself of even the very mention of the word sin? It has almost entirely disappeared from the world's vocabulary. We can pick up our newspaper or magazine and read all the accounts of violence and atrocity and murder and dishonesty, but seldom are these things called "sin." Writers talk about crime and violence and death and murder and immorality, but the word SIN is carefully avoided. Now all of this become very significant, for we believe it to be an attempt, consciously or unconsciously, to get rid of the idea of sin. But sin is still sin, and until there is a revival of preaching against sin in all of its awfulness, as a filthy damning rebellion against God, which it is, there cannot be a revival, but the world will continue getting worse and more rotten and more sinful than ever. By the grace of God, we, therefore, shall lift our voice against sin, not merely as a human weakness, not merely as the mistakes of a race trying to climb upward by evolutionary process, but as that vicious, selfish, filthy thing which lies at the basis and root of all man's troubles and trials, and which is a rebellion against a thrice-holy God, which must result in the punishment of the sinner in an eternal Hell, unless it is taken care of by the blood atonement of the Son of God. That is why we preach on the subject of the blood, the only God-given remedy for sin." SOURCE: M.R. DeHaan, M.D.; The Tabernacle, 1955, p. 149 (ISBN: 0-310-23491-3) That is the message which America's preachers need to hear today. We have become complacent concerning sin. Abortion has become so commonplace that few preachers today cry aloud against sin as Isaiah the prophet did... “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins” (Isaiah 58:1). Where are the Billy Sundays today, who will preach uncompromisingly against sin? America doesn't need anymore ear-ticklin', back-scratchin', penny-pinchin', nickel-nippin', soft-soap, compromising, pink-tea and lemonade type sissy preachers. No sir! What America desperately needs today is old-fashioned, Bible-believin', people-lovin', barn-stormin', window-rattlin', shingle-pullin', narrow-minded, Hell-fire and damnation, separated, soulwinning, preachers who aren't afraid to speak the truth!!! END “Thou shalt not kill.” ―Exodus 20:13 ABORTION—THE AMERICAN HOLOCAUST! (1973 to ____ ) “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” —Proverb 14:34 The sad truth is that women who have had abortions are GUILTY of murder. Such women have crossed the line, just as Eve did when she challenged God's Word. God says... Thou shalt not kill; BUT, many women today kill anyway, having no regard for God or His Word. Women who think they are exercising their "rights" by having an abortion are in reality foolishly killing their own baby. Do you realize that a baby is aborted by being sucked into pieces while alive, by a vacuum that is 29 times more powerful than a standard vacuum? For more information, please read Abortion Torture Methods. When a women permits a doctor to kill her baby, she is literally handing her beloved child over to an executioner to be tortured to death in a grotesque, painful, and brutal procedure that rivals the Japanese Unit 731 Labs of WWII. On the individual level, there is forgiveness for involvement in the sin of abortion. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God will justly forgive those who repent and believe the Gospel (1st Corinthians 6:11, “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God”). It will remind you that every human life is precious and that we can see this truth most clearly through the face of a helpless, innocent baby who can do nothing for us but allow us the opportunity to give ourselves to him in love. It teaches that joy comes through giving oneself to another for their own sake and that authentic joy can be experienced in the midst of difficulties and even amidst tremendous sorrow. I understand that you are preparing for an argumentative presentation. This does not give you permission to argue with those who willingly present their views for inclusion in your thought process. It's how OpenStudy works. We talk to each other. If you already made up your mind what you are going to argue, you have posted here under false pretenses. That's no good. If you would like to practice making a good argumentative presentation, you should give a good effort to arguing the side you do not believe. Lawyers do it for a living. It takes immense internal personal effort to support your clients and provide due diligence to people who deserve to be defended - under the Constitution.
Can I still put my opinion?
Yes you can celinegirl.
I am open for all
Well I think its a personal choice for people. If you have MAJOR reasons of why you can't support this child then okay.. but I still think that abortion wouldn't be the way to go... adoption is a better choice and a more mature choice.
I don't know to explain this to every one very well... But I am trying to see what everybody thinks about Abortion. Then I am going to write a paper about what you guys are saying than, I am going to add what I think. What I think abortion. I think the is another way than abortion. The is always light in the darkness. The way of life and beauty. I am doing that cause I want peace in the world not unnecessary death. You know babies also have rights. They are a living being. Even when the baby is not born cause it is alive.
Please tell me that someone understand what I am saying??
Hello #litlred111. How are you these days??
There are many who understand what you are saying. Some of those agree with you. Do YOU understand what those who do not agree with you are saying? This is the question you should answer in order for there to be a useful dialog.
I do understand what everyone is saying . I don't like how some people are getting a little snippy!!
I like to ask about people who use because I got a lot of responses and opinions. But I don't like to sarcasm!...
your heart is in the right place for sure! the last time i put my opinion in i realized i wanted to help you a little more.. since i have never had an abortion a friend of mind gave me her opinion on it.. she had to make a choice in her past and she told me the reason why she didn't keep the child was because she was deep in a terrible addiction.. she knew she needed to clean herself up before she could have a child so she aborted her first child.. 5 years later she is clean and healthy and she has a 3 month old son! she told me that if she didn't abort her child the first time, her child wouldn't be able to live happily or healthily because of her mistakes. she said, quote, "i decided to ruin my life with addiction, but once i realized i could ruin another life i couldn't dare to go through with it, life deserves to be lived.. but not if i tainted them with something that scar then in the future." she said it was ok for you to use her story for your paper. i dont know if it helps.. but it gives you some sort of understanding from the other side..
Fair enough. You should probably come to terms with the fact that many perceive this language, "The is always light in the darkness. The way of life and beauty." as snippy or demeaning.
Thank you litlred111. Now I am starting to see what you are saying!!! Tkhunny, not so much..
And yes her story will be useful!
litlred111.
ok good :) i think that tkhunny was trying to say was, if you have an opportunity to write an essay concerning opinions, you must understand both sides.. thats why i gave you a story from a real woman who was put into the situation.
We all make mistakes. That is why we are human.
Ok
I see what you are saying.
tkhunny was really snippy toward me!!1
idkw?
well this is how i see it...if your going to write an essay concerning opinions, the best thing to do is accept all opinions without arguments, so lets say... i have to write an essay like yours but Im fighting for gay rights (just an example).. i post a question..like you did on here but instead of saying "i have an essay concerning gay rights, whats your opinion" that would be the appropriate way to ask for others opinions.. but when you write things like "help me fight against it" thats just asking for a little tension..
Well I know that!! That was the point. I am not going to put every thing down on my essay. And I will be using some opinions on both sides.
So people can see both sides of the argument .
when looking for opinions from such a broad public, your going to get opinions you dont agree with but the best thing to do is try to understand them! once you do, i know your paper will be great! writers who understand both sides are the best writers.
yeah! so take this opportunity to get all of the info you can now from both sides to make a great essay :) let me know how it turns out! oh and also! did you look at the link i posted of the song? i think you'll like it!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwUGSYDKUxU it doesnt really have anything to do with the topic of the essay, but i know if you listen to the words you might come up with a few great ways to write it!
I did not I can't go on youtube it is blocked on my computer. But what is the song I can look it up on dailymotion.com
imagine by john lennon :)
ok thanks
no prob hun :) good luck!
thanks
I am looking at it now
Thanks
I'm never snippy. I'm honest and direct. One more hint... You were given a story from an actual person. Your response to this story was "Some people make mistakes". You have injected your views into someone else's story. This is not an appropriate use of that person's story. You were given this story to add someone's reality to your thought process. You were not given the story to wedge it into what you already were thinking and call it a "mistake". It is a hard thing, treating people with respect, even while disagreeing with them on such important, passionate matters.
If only for the sake of argument: Without expressing my personal opinion, I offer the following logical contrary arguments. I won't mention all that I could. I'm just contributing some thought points for the OPs biased research. I have edited severely for space, but I believe nothing is addressed out of original context. "Trimester identification is not an exact science." http://www.ehd.org/science_main.php It pretty much is. As far as the arbitrary designation of the moment in which it becomes murder or not? That's a good question, but in your later response you seem to elude that fertilization is a good enough line in that sand for you; I guess that justifies your- nevermind I won't go there lol. "Life has nothing to do with fertilization? That's a very odd definition." If our goal was to determine a logical rationale behind abortion, then we certainly cannot do so with the such romantic notions of the what has not to do with life. (Besides, I thought you were going to avoid expressing your personal opinion?) Anyways, from what I understand, it seems that an arbitrary line in the sand is hard to draw. Perhaps it is not urgent that a perfect line be drawn, but simply that a line IS drawn? I don't necessarily believe that, but some of your points have made me begin to wonder. "Well, except for the fact that nearly every law ever written can be described as just that." That may be what you believe. But in a multicultural society, it is necessarily true that not every individual member of the society holds the same values and beliefs, and certainly not the same definition of what is good. Instead, what one may call a host, enforces laws and rules upon a society justified either by the majority of the society's acceptance and cooperation or by virtue of being able to enforce by means such as martial law. But that is a discussion of political philosophy, my only point in making the statement I did was to help make clear to the OP a clear objective in our philosophical inquiry. In fact, that you would respond to it in the manner that you did only makes it seem as though you read my post with fangs bared? But the show must go on. "You did attempt to clarify this, but your efforts are insufficient to withstand the argument that ALL children are born into sub-ideal circumstances. Frankly, our society doesn't even know what ideal circumstances are! Research comes and goes." I did indeed mention that the standard for an "ideal" circumstance was very broad, and in fact if you had taken the time to google what Maslow defined as the hierarchy of needs, you would have found that it consists of physiological needs as a basic, safety and shelter, social needs, esteem and self-worth, and finally self-actualization. These are SUPREMELY broad categories, and so generalized in fact that to make the bold claim that ALL children are born outside of these basic necessities is almost blasphemy. almost. Society TOTALLY knows what ideal is, it's pretty simple actually: protection from harm, shelter, interpersonal relationships, self worth, curiosity and wonder. Frankly, YOU my friend are an idealist if you believe that ALL children are born in sub-ideal environments. Either that or born and raised in the suburbs? "The growth must be abnormal. Pregnancy is a normal process." now your just being belligerent. I was only trying to lighten up the piece "And thus we see that there remain varying opinions" Most of which belong to you.
@tkhunny
See. This is what we call a discussion. Sadly, you have reacted badly to several of the things I said. Nevertheless, it is a worthwhile discussion. Quick Recap: *** Trimester remains vague. Many women don't seek prenatal care or simply don't even know they are pregnant for a while. Conception isn't always immediate. We can be somewhat precise, but it's not perfect. *** I said nothing of fertilization being an important line. *** Out goal is not to form a logical rationale for abortion. This ignores moral issues. *** Fertilization is not arbitrary. No one believes the cell structure is viable until this point. *** Laws - That is how we make laws. It's not a matter of opinion. *** Maslow - It's very familiar turf. Your attempt at insult gives you an excuse to ignore what I said. Do better. *** Ideal - Yes, I am an idealist and rather a cynic. Society does not know what ideal is. As I said, research comes and goes. All too often, whatever was ideal last week turns out to be less than ideal this week. Even if we all come to a consensus, will we know then? *** Calling a viable cell structure that will soon grow to human life a "tumor" is not a good way to lighten anything. *** "Varying" Generally, we've only one at a time. I can be persuaded by appropriate arguments, so I hope it is true that some of my opinions are varying.
@tkhunny who were you taking to at the end?
