can someone help explain this to me will give medal .......................................................... When the function f(x) = 6(9)x

Nnesha (nnesha):

graph it

Nnesha (nnesha):

https://www.desmos.com/calculator type both equation and see the difference and btw x is an exponent right ?

OpenStudy (gabebae):

First take any x coordinates and substitute those into the function and get the output which is y, then you would graph those

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok @GabeBae when you graph the x and y what is inbetween is the change

OpenStudy (gabebae):

the change? explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here are the answers to choose from they dont want you to solve it they want you to pick what it does when you graph it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is no change to the graph because the exponential portion of the function remains the same. All input values are moved 1 space to the right. The x-intercept is 1 space higher. The y-intercept is 1 space higher.

OpenStudy (gabebae):

well you have to graph both functions and figure out which one it is

OpenStudy (gabebae):

f(x) will be the output which will be y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the y is the input

Nnesha (nnesha):

right x= input y=output did you graph both equations ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

y-intercept : is a point where graph hit the y-axis x-intercept is a point where graph hit the x-axis now look at the graph what's difference ?

OpenStudy (gabebae):

Do you still need help?

im am trying would i do it like this|dw:1446329859557:dw|
