Write the complex number in the form a + bi. (2 points) 8(cos 30° + i sin 30°)

First thing we need to do is simplify as much as possible! Let's solve inside the parentheses: `cos(30) + i sin(30)` What's cos(30) and sin(30)?

Personally, I don't think that is exactly what the question is looking for...and Im posting on a necro, but the answer provided really bothers me... whatever yolo theta=& (cause Im too lazy to type theta) e^i&=cos(&)+isin(&) If Im not mistaken you need to use this. you'll end up with 8*e^i*(pi/6) 8*e^i*(pi/6) &=arg z (arg is the argument) r=8=|z|=sqrt(x^2+y^2). What you need to do is convert cos(&)+isin(&) into z=x+iy

Its all about Euler's formula

If im not mistaken this is a calculus class. perhaps AP or IB
