OpenStudy (lexber):

Which of the following lines is parallel to x = 8? 3y = 16 x = 7 x = y y = 8

OpenStudy (jingle535):

Lex in order for lines to be parallel they have to not intersect, for helpful information line x=1 is a vertical line and the line y=1 is a horizontal line

OpenStudy (jingle535):

If you just want the answer I could give it but I want to try and help, if you want help so you can learn please tell me what you are thinking :)

OpenStudy (lexber):

Can i please just have the answer i dont like these kind of questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=7 would be parrallel because they are both equations that have x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=7. Because x=8, there is a vertical line going across 8 on the x axis. If x=7, there is a vertical line going through 7 on the x axis, thus making them parallel.

OpenStudy (lexber):

thank you to both of you (:
