How do you find fractions that are equal? Example: 4/-14 = -4/-14, -4/14, 4/14

OpenStudy (jingle535):

You figure it out by canceling negatives, negatives in fractions work like this 1/1=-1/-1 , 1/-1=-1/1 , but 1/-1 does NOT equal 1/1 or -1/-1. Overall, 1 negative, no matter where it is is makes the equation negative, 0 or 2 negatives are positive.
