In this assignment, you will be using a recipe of your choosing and using ratios to convert the recipe to make enough for 50 people.

Step 1: Choose a recipe that has at least 4 ingredients.
Step 2: List all the ingredients and the amount of each ingredient in the recipe. Also list the number of servings it makes. You do not need to list the directions, only the ingredients.
Step 3: Choose at least four of the ingredients to convert. For each ingredient, set up a proportion that will find the amount needed of that ingredient to make a recipe for 50 servings. Showing all

This should be easy to make if you find a recipe yourself. It's mostly asking for a recipe that has 4 ingredients but you have to make it for 50 people. So if it asked for like 1/5th cup of flour, to make it for 10 people that would be 0.20 * 10 which would be 2 cups of flour. And so if you made it for 50 people it would be 0.20 * 50 which would be 10 cups of flour. So when you do all the conversations, you'll see that the base recipe might make it for like So for the serving part if it makes like 3 servings that would be 3 * 50 which would be 150 servings. I may have explained it slightly wrong. Okay, so let's say you have to make this thing that requires 1 cup flour,ice,sugar,butter. (Not real) but this makes 2 servings. Well since you have 50 people 1 serving for each. You could have to make 25 of this recipe because, it would create 50 servings for 50 people. So 25 cups of flour,ice,sugar and butter. I hope this helped a little bit more. I explained it wrong in my first example.
