something i wrote...

as perfect as the scratches,
on your crown.
as fragile as the leg you broke,
when you feel down.
as neat as the paper,
torn to bits.
as polite as the kid,
throwing fits.
as faithful as the devil,
climbing up from hell.
as happy as the cutter,
that climbed then fell.
as wrong as the teacher,
on the math test.
as hideous as the model,
that thinks hes best.
as loving as the dad,
thats been abusing.
as clean as the junkie,
thats been using.
as faithful as a rabid dog,
getting shot in the head.
as alive as the girl,
that just dropped dead.

life is never what it seems....
