Government supported programs to help the needy have continued since Roosevelt's time. Examples would be the government programs that help local economies and programs that provide health care for children. These programs are expensive and cost the citizens money in the form of taxes. Do you think that the government should still continue to help people in need or should people have to take care of themselves?

Well some people do need the help but some dont. It can make people lazy if they are supported by the government while the rest of us work our butts off they just receive and receive and it can make them not want to get a job because then they won't get finacial support from the government.
thank you @GrimVix
