@ItzHannahx No problem. :P Whenever you do problems that ask you to find a letter, such as 12=6*y, you do 12÷6 to get your answer. This applies to any questions that have this format: 4=10+y (answer being -6.) y-7=19 (answer being 26.) Just do inverse operations. Another example, but with full work: 8*n=48 8*n is insolvable as it is, but you have an answer, so you have to do 48÷8, since it is the inverse operation. 48÷8=6, so 8*6=48. You can always do this on a calculator. I hope you understand it now. I'm a 7th grader and I got confused by this at first, but I'm actually pretty okay at it now.
