PLEASE HELP FAST I WILL FAN AND MEDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! George is folding a piece of paper to make an origami figure. Each time he folds the paper, the thickness of the paper is doubled. The paper starts out flat, with a thickness of 1 millimeter. A. Write a list of six ordered pairs showing the output as the thickness of the paper when the input is the number of times it is folded. Explain how you came up with your ordered pairs. B. Is this relation a function? Explain why or why not using the ordered pairs you came up with in Part A.

@Directrix
The domain would be the number of times you fold the piece of paper The range would be thickness of the piece of paper. So you would star with X: 0 1 3... y: 1 2 4... And so on.. can you complete?
i really dont know how to do it
@joseknight Is this supposed to be: X: 0 1 3... y: 1 2 4... X: 0 1 2... y: 1 2 4...
just realize I did put "star" instead of start xd So, let say you are making a graph, the points in the graph would be in the format (x,y) the domain (the x value) would be the number of times you folded the paper. and the range (the y value) the thickness of the paper. so if every time you fold the piece of paper you doubled its thickness.. when you folded once you get 2mm, the next time you get 4, the next 8 and so on @Directrix (yes, thanks for it, I didn't notice it. but I don't see a edit bottom )
button* it is my auto corrector xd
@Kpop4life123 You need to help. X: 0 1 2 3 y: 1 2 4 ? Look at the row of y values. What do you multiply 1 by to get 2 that you also multiply 2 by to get 4 that you also multiply 4 by to get the y value for 3 folds?
In short, observe the pattern and post what comes next. 1, 2, 4, ?
