Joshua likes to read. He read 6 books when he was 6 years old. Every year he doubled the number of books he read the previous year. How many total books did he read between the ages of 6 and 10? 60 90 186 187

6+12+24+48+96= 186
When he was 6 he read 6 books, when he was 7 he read 12 books, when he was 8 he read 24 books when he was 9 he read 48 books, and when he was 10 he read 96 books. So, as @joseknight said, you add all those numbers together to get the total number of books he read which is B. 186.
