The three types are substitution, deletion, and addition. Substitution is when a chemical interferes with the DNA and replaces itself in the place of another vital chemical. Deletion is when something takes a part out of the code. Addition is when the factors decide they are going to add an extra piece to the puzzle. So the main causes are:
