A factory uses 15 pounds of steel for every 18 pounds of copper. How much copper will the factory 2,700 pounds of steel. (My mom says that the answer is 3,240 pounds. I think she is wrong so I said the answer was 2,250. Please tell me if I'm right!). PLEASE HELP! :D

\[\frac{18}{15}=\frac{x}{2700}\] for example
your answer cannot be right, because there is more copper than steel how this is possible i have no idea maybe they lose a lot of copper in the process
in any case get the answer via \[x=\frac{2700\times 18}{15}\]
