The line y=-3x+1 has slope -3. Any line parallel to the line above has slope -3.
Equation of line passing through ( -2, -1) with slope -3 --------------------------------------- y - y1 = m(x - x1) where m = -3 and (x1,y1) = (-2, -1) y - (-1) = (-3) ( x - (-2) ) y + 1 = -3 ( x + 2)
Your task is to simplify that.
y=-3-7
