OpenStudy (hlambach):

Polar Equation Graph Test for symmetry and graph r = 1-sin(θ). I've tested for symmetry and it fails polar axis, y-axis, and pole test. I even know what the graph looks like, I just want to know how I would get the table of values without using a calculator (mainly because I don't even know how to put this equation in a calculator)

OpenStudy (hlambach):

This is the graph.

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

do you know the standard equation of Cardiod ?

OpenStudy (hlambach):

No, wasn't in the math book, haha sorry

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

haha the one you have is a cardiod though :P

OpenStudy (hlambach):

Sorry foro the late reply, my internet sucks and OpenStudy always has to refresh. Anyways, I don't know what to do with that information, haha

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

ok read this it's useful and accurate for all polar graph :) http://www.saylor.org/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/GRAPHING-IN-POLAR-COORDINATES.pdf

OpenStudy (hlambach):

Okay, thank! I mostly got it.
