Please help! What is the difference between the Rocky shores and the Sandy Beaches?

OpenStudy (dr0zier99):

A rocky shore is an intertidal area of seacoasts where solid rock predominates. Rocky shores are biologically rich environments, and are a useful "natural laboratory" for studying intertidal ecology and other biological processes.

OpenStudy (dr0zier99):

sandy beaches are sandy and from what i saw more relaxing and safe (unless you like geting your skin penetrated by pointy rocks then well theres nothing wrong with that)
