OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

What affected the American economy immediately after World War I? increase in international trade demobilization of the military rise in the demand for consumer goods tariffs placed by European nations on American imports I know C is wrong, but I'm between A and B and can't decide which one it is.

OpenStudy (salemlover352):

B

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

How sure are you?

OpenStudy (salemlover352):

98% sure lol

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

What about the other 2%?

OpenStudy (beatboxingfetus):

If you hold on a minute, I could look it up for you.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Okay.

OpenStudy (salemlover352):

I looked it up and it says B

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I probably saw the same answers you did and I came here and asked myself because I didn't trust those answers.

OpenStudy (salemlover352):

I went to like 7 sites and they all say B thats why im 98% sure the other 2% is cause its hard to trust the sites

OpenStudy (beatboxingfetus):

Yeah, but okay after World War 1, everyone started demanding supplies and investing too much in stocks, since the Stock market crash happened directly after. Since the war was over, we didn't have to ration portions anymore, and it let to consumer demand for goods. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Wouldn't that answer lead to C and I already know that's incorrect?

OpenStudy (beatboxingfetus):

Yeah, it would I suppose. This questions is seriously vague. Did you already like get the answer wrong once or something?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Yeah, I put C the first time and it was wrong.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I know, from my lesson, that "From 1914 to 1917, America's trade exports to Britain increased from $600 million to nearly $2 billion and the exports to France almost quadrupled." So that's what makes me think A, but a lot of other people say B so I'm not sure

OpenStudy (salemlover352):

Do what your gut tells you

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I guess I doubt B because I don't see how demobilizing an army would affect the economy at all.

OpenStudy (beatboxingfetus):

I would say, but A, because if your lesson says that then that's probably what they would want you to put. It's really stupid how online classes work sometimes but it's whatever.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

What my lessons teach me and what the tests have on them are always so different. It makes it totally irrelevant to even provide a lesson if it doesn't help at all. If you think this is bad, you should see my Anatomy course and the questions on those tests. but thanks, both of you.

OpenStudy (beatboxingfetus):

he world War I ended in 1918, and the demobilization efforts after the war continued up to maximum 1919. Thus there was hardly any demobilization activity in 1920's.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Well A was still wrong, so I guess it was B.

OpenStudy (beatboxingfetus):

thats frustrating
