OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

okay here

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

K, so keep in mind one meter = 100 centimeters = 1000 milliliters

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

ill send my work now

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Okee dokee.

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

im getting frustrated

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

if i cant show you my assignment i have to post it

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

I can see the pic of your assignment

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

number one original problem 646.63 meters to centi meters 64663.

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

answer all on the right side

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Right.

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

good

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

424.47 centimeters to meters 4.2447

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Yup. You're just moving the decimal.

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

ill do it in a chunk

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

710.22 meters to mililimeter 710220. 319.11 millimeters to meters .31911 487,48 kilometers to meters .59184

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

All good except for the last one. Where are you getting 59184?

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

whoops lol

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

487480.

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Right. Go on.

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

591.84 meters to kilo .59184

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

You're doing great so far...

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

567.95 centimeters to millimeters 5679.5 456.69 milli to centi 45.669 662.17 litters to milliters 662170. 508.92 milli to litters .50892

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

You've got the hang of this! Idk why you need my help! :P

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

okay good

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

i was missing up

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

my teacher told me the way i was doing this was wrong and i should be multiplying by ten or dividing by ten

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

All you have to do is move the decimal. It's the exact same thing -_-

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

my old science teacher 4 years ago told me if you remember the metrics all your doing is moving the decimal left is your high right is your low

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

i haven't done this in a sad long while ago

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

i struggled few days with this in till it clicked

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

that solves one of my problems personally

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

also no one believed me the way i was doing it in class

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

they said i was wrong this isn't the way it should be done its not traditionally doing the problem

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

its only thing i remembered

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

now i gotta find out how much is in a litter but im confused

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Why?

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

a liter in a gallon is 0.26 a litter in a gallon is 3.78

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

im like wtf??

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Um what?

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

two different versions

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

both american version

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

A litter? 0_0

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

yes

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

the object of mine in passing is damge control

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

objective**

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

not willing to getting small stuff wrong when you can actually able to mange it getting correct

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

i think i post the chart of mines here

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

I have no idea what a litter is...

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

O_O

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

Theirs thousands of versions

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

its killing me

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

some say its 4 cups when others say a pint and some ounces

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Oh you misspelled liter.

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

yes

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

I thought it was a different form of measurement

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

it is

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Ok here's what I learned: 4.2279984 Cups in a Liter

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

metric to american units american to metric units

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

o_o

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

I think that's standard. I have to go though... I will be back in a bit.

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Brb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok are you there stell

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

back

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

yes

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

i had faith you'll return

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

explain to me o.o

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

which is it true?

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

dude

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

the difference is confusing me

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

metric to american units american to metric units

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Ok sorry, I'm back now. So what specific conversions are you looking for?

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

how many ounces make a liter

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

i can't tell the difference

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

giant numbers like those confuse me to beyond rescue lol

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

4.2279984 Cups in a Liter <<< kills me

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Ok, first off, sorry for all this delay. I made a pledge on OS to answer as many questions correctly and as quickly as possible. Because of my answers a lot of people want me answering their questions. (I am answering like 5 right now) Combine that with the fact that I am in a car with serious intenet problems and you have the reason for my slow responses. Second, imperial units are 1 gallon=16 cups=8pints=128ounces metric units are 1 liter=10 deciliters= 100 centiliters = 1000 milliliter They're completely unrelated so converting between them is hard.

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

Absolutely sorry

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

But, if we want to convert between them, we can look it up. just search "liter to gallon" on google and you'll find 1 liter = 0.264172

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Also, I'm the one that should be sorry. In my pledge, I need to answer questions quickly, Idk what it is today but I earned like 20 medals cause everyone keeps mentioning me :P

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

because your an incredible person that never stops working hard

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

how many litters make a cup or how many ounces make a litter without the crazy long number o.e

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Thank you so much! It's people like you who make OpenStudy so rewarding to me! I have always had a love of teaching... and when people like you come up and I can see them learning it brings me all the happiness that the cat in my profile picture is experiencing. :D

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

you always have earned it

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

some one told me a in ounces a litter makes 34 ounces or four cups is that true???

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

im copying pasteing what you said put it as my notes

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Hey knight my wifi just went down sending this from my phones data plan I will get back to the problem ASAP I'm so so sorry :( :(

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

Absolutely okay

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):

your going through a bad moment i would definitely not hold it against you

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Also that is sorta true it's close to 4 cups but not exactly

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

I can kinda reply for the phone I had a lengthy explanation typed up on the computer but I lost it :(

OpenStudy (knightofpentacles):
