Can someone pretty please help me with this c:
do you mean 3 - the kite question?
all of them
well circumference = 2piR
not sur I got time for all of thm lets start with the circumference you have been given the equation above so if r is doubled (i.e. becomes 2r) then what is th ecircumference?
1. the circumference is tripled by 3 because the equation for the circumference is 2πr and if you multiply r by three it multiplies the whole equation by three 2πr(3)=6πr which is the original equation multiplied by 3 so it the circumference is multiplied by a factor of 3
not tripled multiplied sorry
okay
or you can just wait until someone gives you the complete answer..
what is the equation for the AREA of a circle?
lol i just dont understand on the first 2 how to explain that but i get he already explained it
pir^2
so if r becomes 2r you get pi (2r)^2 so what factor is the original area increased by?
3?
(2r)^2 is the same as 2r * 2r how would you write that?
2(3) *2(3)
where did you get the 3 from? that is not correct just simplify (2r)^2 or simplify 2r *2r
i dont know
so rearrange it like this 2*2 *r*r what is 2*2 what is r*r
the area of a kite is pq/2 where p and q are the diagonal lengths if you take 2 and 1 as p and q you would get 1 as your area then if you doubled them to 2 and 4 your area would be 4 then you can do it one more time with 4 and 8 and you get your area to be 16 so each time you double the diagonals the area goes up by a factor of 4.
did you find you answer
thank you guys
yep and its nice to meat you how old are you im 12
