WILL FAN AND MEDAL!!! For a regular n-gon: a. What is the sum of the measures of its angles? b. What is the measure of each angle? c. What is the sum of the measures of its exterior angles, one at each vertex? d. What is the measure of each exterior angle? e. Find the sum of your answers to parts b and d. Explain why this sum makes sense.
Don't need the full answer just need a little help and understanding about a regular n-gon?
I assume n is a variable....
I'm not sure, i cant find what im looking for in my book and i suck when it comes to math
Thus you need to work with the equation (n-2) X 180 = the sum of the angles of a polygon where n is the number of sides.
So like for part a i need to find the sum of its angles? what do I do to get that answer?
(n-2) x 180 = the sum of the angle I think I gave you that
So for b what would it look like if I know the sum of all the angles..how would I show the equation for 1 angle?
Yes, i get that part but how am i suppose to know what n is when it doesn't give me any information about it?
screw it, i'm going to skip it and then see if i can get any help with it later. Thanks for the help
You don't need to know waht n is you just need to show how you would solve it...n represents the number of sides or angles of any polygon..
