is question 4 -> Euan question 6 -> Felicia question 10 ->buffalo grass; it has the greater corresponding raw score. question 22 -> Company A is more likely its z-score of 2.82 is greater

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

@dan815

@kropot72

Directrix (directrix):

Euan's z score is at the greatest distance from the mean. You did not say which test. That is part of the question. @Daniellelovee

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

test 2

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

@Directrix

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Question 6. The greatest improvement is not by Felicia. Felicia's z-score went from 1.25 to 1.5, and increase of 0.25. Who has the greatest improvement?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

....an increase of 0.25*

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

Dave?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

and are the rest correct then?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

you there? @kropot72

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Yes, Dave improves from -0.5 to 1. Question 22. The lower value of z-score for 43 lozenges corresponds to a higher probability of producing a packet of 43 lozenges. When the cumulative probabilities are compared, the cumulative probability of Company B producing packets with more than 43 lozenges is 0.0028, whereas the cumulative probability of Company A producing packets with more than 43 lozenges is 0.0024.

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

im confused with 22

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

is company B more likely with a score of -2.77?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Look at it this way, if the z-score of Company B for 43 lozenge packets was 1, and the z-score of Company A for 43 lozenge packets was 2.82, which company would be more likely to produce a packet of 43 lozenges? BTW the actual z-score for Company B is 2.77.

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

ok so then would it mean that A is closer or that B is closer?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

closer to the mean?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

The z-score of Company B is closer to the mean.

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

alright thank you :)

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

and are the rest correct?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

You're welcome :) For question 10, I found the growing period for Bermuda grass to be 11.75 days and for Buffalo grass 15.25 days.
