Based on the previous problem we did, I looked at the base of the exponential model: (1.75). 1.75 = 1 + .75. .75 = 75% And, I cranked out the formula for x = 1 and then x = 2 and followed the instructions for finding the percentage increase and got 75%. 1 35*(1.75) = 61.75 2 35*(1.75)^2 = 107.19 107.19 - 61.25 = 45.94 45.94/62.25 = 75% The calculation was unnecessary but interesting.
