Make sure to distribute first. So like in your first bracket you have -y(-7y-9).. distribute the -y.. after you factor that... then factor the - into the rest of it. and same with the other bracket/parentheses.
So it would come out to something like -______y^2 − [-5y+7y^2+9y] − [15y^2-4y)] = 0
