Alzheimer's is a severe form of Dementia, which is a disease that affects the memory system. Alzheimer's itself is not deadly, however it is no pleasant thing to have. It withers away at the memories of a person, causing them to be highly forgetful, sometimes forgetting who they are, where they're from, and even who their spouse and children are. The person affected could be irritable, angry, sometimes even violent.
